Jau penktą dešimtmetį įvairiose žirginio sporto arenose skamba Civinskų pavardė.
Kauno rajone, Yliškėse, ūkininko Vinco Civinsko, turėjusio 7 hektarus žemės, šeimoje gimė trys sūnūs ir duktė. Visi broliai pasirinko sportinį gyvenimo kelią.

VINCAS CIVINSKAS sen. (g.1943 08 23 Kaunas), the president of the Lithuanian horseback riding union show-jumping committee, distinguished Lithuanian coach, the judge of national category, in 1964 and in 1969 the champion of Lithuanian show jumping competitions, participated in four USSR sport festivals of nations, for many years had been a member of national team. In 1988 graduated from higher agriculture school. He was the coach of five team and individual champions.
